Effervescent Bath Salts

• 9 tbsp. soda
• 2 tbsp. cornstarch
• 7 1/2 tbsp. citric acid powder
• 4 to 6 drops cologne

Directions: 

Mix soda, cornstarch and citric acid in bowl. 

Add cologne and mix thoroughly. 

Store in clean air-tight container. 

Use approx. 2 tablespoons mixture per bath. 

Smelly Play Dough

• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1/2 cup salt
• 1 tbsp. alum
• 2 pkgs. unsweetened Kool-Aid
• 3 tsp. vegetable oil
• 2 cups boiling water

Directions:

Mix dry ingredients then add oil and water. 

Stir quickly and mix well. 

Store in a cool place or refrigerate in an airtight container. 

Halloween Face Paint

• cornstarch
• food coloring (any color)
• crisco shortening

Directions:

Mix thoroughly together and paint face.

Scented Play-Dough

• 1 cup flour
• 1/3 cup salt
• 1/2 cup water

Directions:

Don’t let it get sticky. 

Add a few drops of flavored extract and a few drops of food coloring. 

Mix together in order.  Enjoy! 

Kool-Aid Modeling Dough

1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup salt
2 tbsp. cream of tartar
1 Kool Aid unsweetened soft drink mix packet, any flavor
1 cup water
1 tbsp. vegetable oil

Directions:

Mix flour, salt, cream of tartar and kool-aid mix in medium saucepan. 

Add water and oil and stir. 

Stir over medium heat 3 to 5 minutes until mixture forms a ball in the center of the pan. 

Remove mixture and knead for about 1 minute. 

Store in plastic bag or air tight container in refrigerator until used.
